Idris Elba Channels Mandela In New ‘Long Walk To Freedom’ Posters
We got a first look at Idris Elba as Nelson Mandela back in May now we have two new posters of the British Actor portraying the freedom fighter in the upcoming biopic Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom.
The film is based on Mandela’s autobiography of the same name and costars Naomie Harris (Skyfall) as Winnie Mandela with a supporting cast made up of South African stars including Tony Kgoroge, Riaad Moosa, Zolani Mkiva, Jamie Bartlett, Lindiwe Matshikiza, Deon Lotz and Terry Pheto.
The film will follow Mandela from his childhood to being an activist, his time in jail and of course his eventual release and election as the first black president of South Africa as well as the first president to be elected post-apartheid.
Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom has been pushed back from its November 23 release to November 29.
