Uche Nwofor happy with Heerenveen move

Uche Nwofor happy with Heerenveen move
The former 3SC and Rangers player has expressed joy at moving to his new club during the European transfer window
New Heerenveen striker Uche Nwofor has revealed to Goal his excitement after negotiating a way out of second division club VVV Venlo to remain in the top flight in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Nwofor completed his switch to the Dutch club on transfer deadline day and the former 3SC and Enugu Rangers' forward has stated that with his future settled his mind will be 100 percent for the Super Eagles' cause on Saturday during the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Malawi.
Nwofor rued Venlo's descent into the lower division and said he would be happy if the club can make instant return to the first division.
"I am happy that I have eventually moved to another club. It was difficult for some time when there were several rumours about me and where I will play next. It disturbed me because of the reports I had read in the papers indicating that I would leave Venlo,” Nwofor told Goal.
"I am now a free man. I will prove to my new club that the money spent on me won't be wasted at all,” he concluded.
