Lupe Fiasco Disses Dizaster, Calls Him "Angry Drake"
Lupe Fiasco calls Dizaster an "angry Aubrey" who is "subpar" and "wack" in Battle Rap.
Lupe Fiasco dissed Dizaster Tuesday (October 29), and referred to him as an "Angry Drake."
Lupe Fiasco posted his reaction to a recent King of the Dot battle between Dizaster and Aye Verb through his Twitter account Tuesday. Soon after Fiasco's Twitter updates were made, he and Dizaster were involved in a Twitter exchange, which featured both rappers insulting one another.
Fiasco said that Aye Verb won the battle. He also said both competitors, Aye Verb and Dizaster, were "subpar." Dizaster responded by calling Fiasco "a Twitter hoe" who needs to "get a life."
Fiasco's Twitter updates can be viewed below, followed by Dizaster's.

Dizaster responded to the Twitter updates by posting his own.
Dizaster and Aye Verb battled at King of the Dot's "Battle of the Bay 6" event.
In September, Lush spoke with HipHopDX about the battle event series.
"'Battle of the Bay' is the dopest and most innovative series in Battle Rap history, especially for Cali,"Lush said in an exclusive statement to HipHopDX. "Because of us doing that shit and groups like Hieroglyphics, now you got lil youngsters all through the hood in East Oakland. This is Cali, not New York. We grew up on mob music and gang culture, not Hip Hop, cyphers and battles. We helped bring that element to the forefront. It's way bigger and more important to the Bay Area then the Battle Rap community can comprehend. 'Battle of the Bay' means the manifestation of all my hopes and dreams. I lost my chick over that shit, basically. I chose this over my life and fuck it, I couldn't be happier."

Hells Angels Sues Young Jeezy Over Skull Logo Hells No You Don't!!!

1028-hells-angels-young-jeezy-getty
The Hells Angels don't need baseball bats and chains to protect their image -- all they need is a good lawyer, which is exactly what they got to sue rapper Young Jeezy's clothing line ... claiming Jeezy's company jacked their iconic Death Head logo.

The fabled motorcycle club filed the lawsuit against 8732 Apparel for essentially reprinting the Hells Angels logo on jackets and hats ... and selling them for a massive profit.

The 8732 design isn't an exact rip-off ... but Hells Angels claims it's close enough to confuse people.

1028-hells-angels-8732-apparel
HA claims 8732 has already earned substantial profits from the bootleg merch, and the motorcycle club wants every last cent of that money.

The club is now suing for unspecified damages. It also wants a judge to force 8732 to stop selling anything with an HA-looking logo on it. Calls to 8732 were not returned.

FYI, this isn't the first time the Hells Angels went ballistic over someone stealing their logo -- you'll recall, they sued Rob Dyrdek's clothing company and MTV last year for the same thing.

Chris Brown Enters Rehab for Anger Management

1028-chris-brown-02

Chris Brown
has just entered a rehab facility for anger management issues ... presumably to deal with his temper problems and to blunt a possible prison sentence.

Sources tell TMZ ... Brown's attorney, Mark Geragos, just dropped him off at a facility in Malibu. The move doesn't come a day too soon.

We've learned the L.A. County probation department is going full bore in its investigation to determine if Brown violated his probation in the Rihanna case by getting arrested in D.C. over the weekend ... after allegedly punching a guy in the nose.

Sources tell TMZ, Brown flew to L.A. after getting released from the D.C. jail and met with L.A. County Probation Department officials today.

We're told it's likely the Probation Department will determine that Brown violated his probation, and a judge could sentence him to as much as 4 years in prison.

Along with Geragos, we're told his mom and GF Karrueche accompanied Chris to the facility.

The rehab move could show a measure of good faith and contrition.

Enyeama sets sights on being number one

Nigeria’s first choice and stand-in captain believes he has what it takes to become the best goalkeeper in the world
Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has disclosed that his target is to be the best goalkeeper in the world.
The Lille OSC man revealed this after helping his club to a 1-0 victory away to Nantes over the weekend and in the process keeping his ninth clean slate in the Ligue 1.
“It’s about work, work and even more hard work. I believe in hard work. I have been watching videos and looking at my mistakes. I keep striving day and night to correct them,” Enyeama told his club’s website.
“When I make a mistake, I am hard on myself….more than I could get on someone else if he made the same mistake.
“That’s the way I am. I have set very high standards for myself. I believe I can be the best goalkeeper in the world,” Enyeama concluded
The former Enyimba skipper has been in blistering form since returning from a season long loan to Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.

2 Chainz Wants Jay Z Feature On His Next Album

2 Chainz Wants Jay Z Feature On His Next Album
The College Park native also touches base on his health, exploring avenues outside of music, and his working relationship with YMCMB.
Just over a month removed from the release of his second commercial album, B.O.A.T.S. II #MeTime, which was released less than a year after his debut, 2 Chainz stopped by Hot 93.7's Hot Afternoon Show in Hartford, CT and revealed to host Jenny Boom that he has already begun working on his third album. Formerly associated as a half of the group Playaz Circle under the name Tity Boi, 2 Chainz changed his artist name in 2011 and greater commercial success soon followed with the release of his mixtape T.R.U. REALigion.
On the show, 2 Chainz commented on the frequency of his release schedule with a reference to his experience with noncommercial releases. “I come from the mixtape world, the mixtape market,” he said. “So, for me to put out quality street music in an album format is good for my fanbase. I’m already working on my third album, I have a single already. I never stop—the day my album dropped, I went to the studio.”
2 Chainz’s latest album also featured a deluxe edition coupled with a self-penned recipe book from the rapper himself. “I have a cook book with my deluxe album called ‘Meal Time,’” he said. “It has opened up a lot of different doors to talk about a healthy lifestyle, healthy eating, and what food does for me, as far as me having stomach ailments, having to be in the public as much as I have to be, and at the top of my health—I have ulcers and I have acid reflux, I have my good days and I have my days where I can’t move. For me, I have to have a certain lifestyle—a certain eating regiment, can’t get too full, can’t get too hungry,” he said. He explained the unconventional move with a reference to his own hit single from his debut album. “When you have song like ‘I’m Different,’ you can’t be a cliche type of person. I decided to put out something fun and educational at the same time."

The rapper went on to answer a question about the possibility of his signing officially with a new imprint given his long-standing working relationship with artists and labels like Lil Wayne and G.O.O.D. Music. “I’m family to a lot of these organizations,” he said. “I’ve been on Wayne and Baby and them for over 10 years. My newest single, Mannie Fresh produced, just to show the camaraderie that we have,” he said.  “I’ll always be thankful for what Cash Money did for my campaign—Wayne took me on tour with him in [2008], the I Am Music Tour, one of the biggest selling tours ever. He put me on stage...let me create a fan base and at the same time I’m working on a mixtape, at the same time I’m in a learning process. And with G.O.O.D. Music, that’s more or less like a family.” Continuing, 2 Chainz turned down the possibility of an official deal with G.O.O.D. Music while remaining optimistic that the working relationship would continue on course. “I have a strong affiliation with G.O.O.D. Music,” he said.  “Regardless of the paperwork...everything is under the Def jam umbrella, we’re all working together.”
2 Chainz also explained the motivation behind securing a Jay Z feature for his still untitled third commercial record. “I always had it in mind that I was gonna put Jay Z on my third album,” he said. “Some people skip steps and then wonder why they don’t have anywhere to go, they build these glass ceilings. I still feel like I have room to grow, I haven’t peaked out yet. It’s always exciting to get a verse or something like that from Jay Z for the new album.” When asked if a Jay Z feature would fulfill his desire to work alongside great artists, 2 Chainz added that there are several other rappers he would still like to collaborate with. “You’ve still got Eminem,” he said, “you’ve got Andre 3000. You’ve got your ‘A’ list and then you’ve got your ‘A-A’ list. I guess you got a triple ‘A’ list. You’ve got your certain people that are very successful in the game right now—Drizzy, Wayne, myself, Ross, Sean.”
With a more general reference to his future in the music business, 2 Chainz reported that he simply wants to continue thriving as a solo artist. “I want to continue doing me, continue growing as an artist, to be a successful mainstream artist.” Looking back at his recent rise to commercial prominence, the College Park native took time to reflect on the process. “It’s been one hell of a ride. It’s hard for me to really enjoy the success of 2 Chainz,” he said. “I’m a product of hard work, I enjoy the grind– dropping two albums in one year, touring, videos, etc., it’s not easy, there’s only a few people who can do that. I’m just happy to satisfy my fans."

Benzino Says Eminem And Dr. Dre Beef Wasn't Personal

Benzino Says Eminem And Dr. Dre Beef Wasn't Personal
Benzino also says Dr. Dre is "arguably the greatest producer of Hip Hop in our time."
In a recently published interview with VladTV, rapper and media executive Benzino explained the nature of his long-running dispute with Eminem and Dr. Dre, saying “it wasn’t a personal thing” as well as explaining the first time that he saw the Detroit rapper in person.
“One time I was in L.A., and I don’t know if he remembers this, but I remember I was by Jerry’s Deli, I think that was the first time I’d ever seen [Eminem] and I looked at him,” he said, “and I was like, ‘man, he’s a lot taller than I thought he was.’ That was really it.”
Despite their widely publicized beef, in hindsight, Benzino did acknowledge Eminem and Dr. Dre’s commercial success alongside an admission of his affinity for Dre’s music. “He was being produced by arguably the greatest producer of Hip Hop in our time,” he said, “I recognize that, I mean, Dr. Dre is my hero, you know what I’m saying. I mean, The Chronic, [Snoop Dogg], Dogg Pound, I mean everything, I was turned out by N.W.A. N.W.A. is top five dead or alive to me.”

Benzino’s controversial feud with both Eminem and Dr. Dre as well as their shared label, Interscope, largely stemmed from the monthly Hip Hop publication The Source’s evaluation of Eminem’s sophomore album, The Marshall Mathers LP, in 2000. By that time, Benzino had since joined the publication as a co-owner several years prior. Notably, Benzino was chastised for previous editorial missteps when he granted his own group, Made Men, a coveted four out of five ‘mics’ rating in 1998. The magazine granted The Marshall Mathers LP the relatively low rating of two ‘mics’ two years later despite its critical acclaim elsewhere. The beef quickly escalated with Benzino’s accusation of Eminem being racist and his releasing a string of diss tracks against the rapper. In February of 2003, with Ja Rule on the cover, Benzino appeared inside The Source in a picture holding Eminem’s decapitated head. Following that issue, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Aftermath boycotted the publication and eventually Interscope removed all advertising from the magazine.
“It wasn’t a personal thing about these guys and what they accomplished,” Benzino said in the recent VladTV interview, “I was just looking at the bigger picture and I don’t think they understood that. It was 50 [Cent] I was trying to get on a song when all of this was going on, me and 50 had a pretty good relationship, I had met him through Tone and Poke which Steve Stout had introduced me to—the Trackmasters—and then I remember when he had that situation with Ja [Rule] at the Hit Factory, he ran down to my session when I was with the Made Men at Sony and he had shown me his stab [wound], I called him a car service and got him up out of there. I hadn’t known Ja, it’s crazy because now me and Ja, like that’s my brother. Like, our kids, he’s the godfather of my kids and I’m the godfather of his kids, we’re family. My daughter just went to the Rihanna concert with [Ja Rule’s daughter] Brittany the other day. My son stays weekends til this day, they live in Jersey.
Raymond “Benzino” Scott first gained attention as a member of the Boston-based Hip Hop group The Almighty RSO beginning in the late 1980s. The group released an EP in 1992 preceding their long playing debut, Doomsday: Forever RSO, in 1996. The group also experienced a short-lived affiliation with Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit and was later managed by the management company of the same name. Later, in 1998, Benzino and another member of the group formed a new group called Made Men and released an album titled Classic Limited Edition.
Benzino is currently a recurring character on VH1’s reality show "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."

Al Sharpton Rejects Criticisms Of Jay Z's Barneys Collection

Al Sharpton Rejects Criticisms Of Jay Z's Barneys Collection
Sharpton says "this is about Barneys first."
The high-end department store Barneys New York has recently come under fire amidst separate accusations of racial profiling and discrimination at its Madison Avenue location. The news brought with it criticisms of and protests against Jay Z’s planned holiday collection collaboration with the store. The collection, called “A New York Holiday,” was announced in September and is scheduled to include limited edition clothing and accessories.
Famed Civil Rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton recently commented on the requests for protesting Jay Z’s collection with a call to redirect attention on the department store itself. “Some people want to make this about Jay-Z,” he said as reported in an article by The New York Post. “No, this is about Barneys first.” Sharpton made his statements at the non-profit civil rights organization he founded in the early 1990s called the National Action Network.
Sharpton and other critics have called for the department store’s cooperation in providing information on past instances of reporting shoppers to the NYPD as they did in both of the recent incidents. “What is the collusion between the NYPD and your security that four blocks away from the store, the NYPD stops somebody that bought something in your store?” he said. “We call 911 and can’t get no response. Somebody spent over two grand, and you pick them up four blocks later.” He continued with a public announcement of a planned protest of the store itself. “We’ll march all the way down to your store,” he said, and given the proximity to the upcoming holiday, added, “I’ll serve turkey right on the corner.”
The President of Sharpton’s NAN Brooklyn chapter, Kirsten John Foy, added onto Sharpton’s comments with a more specific mention of the rapper per the Post’s article.“There’s a lot of talk about whether or not Barneys should be doing business with certain black people,” he said. “I think it’s a racist notion to assume that the only black person Barneys does business with is Jay Z. We’re not there to focus on Jay Z. [He] did not write the corporate policy at Barneys. Jay Z is just like every other business man, he is there to make money and if he is the only black business man that does business with Barneys—that is the problem. Barneys is what’s on the table right now.”
Jay Z himself made his first public statement regarding the controversy via his own lifeandtimes.com website yesterday (October 26). While not in response to Foy's comments, the Magna Carta Holy Grail rapper rejected the idea that he was making money from the detail, writing that he's "not making a dime from this collection." His statement also addressed the discrimination and his recent critics.“I move and speak based on facts and not emotion," he writes. "I haven’t made any comments because I am waiting on facts and the outcome of a meeting between community leaders and Barneys. Why am I being demonized, denounced and thrown on the cover of a newspaper for not speaking immediately? The negligent, erroneous reports and attacks on my character, intentions, and the spirit of this collaboration have forced me into a statement I didn’t want to make without the full facts.
“I am against discrimination of any kind, but if I make snap judgements, no matter who it’s towards, aren’t I committing the same sin as someone who profiles? I am no stranger to being profiled and I truly empathize with anyone that has been put in that position. Hopefully this brings forth a dialogue to effect real change.”

US Senator Ted Cruz apologizes for offensive remark about Nigerians

On Monday Oct. 21st, US Republican Senator Ted Cruz told a rally that Nigerian email scammers have been hired to run the Obamacare website, a comment that a lot of Nigerians found offensive. After being bombarded with several phone calls from Nigerians in Houston and all across the US, the office of Ted Cruz has issued a statement from the Senator apologizing for what he said.

The full statement reads:

It’s unfortunate that we’re living in a time where just about every joke can be misconstrued to cause offense to someone.
To the good people of Nigeria - a beautiful nation where my wife lived briefly as the child of missionaries - no offense was intended.
I am fully appreciative of the range of mutual economic and security interests that make Nigeria an important friend to the United States.
And even to those few unscrupulous email scammers who were the subject of the joke, I apologize to you for the unfair comparison to the utterly dysfunctional Obamacare website.

Eleven men dressed in identical black robes were present in the stands to the surprise of bewildered fans at the Allianz Arena
EXTRA TIME

A group of mysterious figures caused a stir in the crowd at Bayern Munich's clash with Hertha Berlin at the Allianz Arena on Saturday.

The 11 unknown men, each dressed in black robes and sat in a line, were spotted making strange synchronised gestures during the league match, which Bayern won 3-2.

Men In Black | The robed figures startled supporters

Situated six rows from the pitch just beside the halfway line in the stand opposite the broadcasting gantry, the group was also seen by TV viewers all across the world.

One fan, Torsten Schmidt, said: "It was very weird. They sat very still for a long time but then would hold their hands up together, or stand up in unison and then sit down again. Everyone near me was very confused. Some people laughed, some looked astonished. It was just very weird."

A key feature of their clothing was a circular symbol on the chest of their robes. It clearly resembled the logo spotted at a series of linked unexplained event over the past week.

Out of this world | Fans were puzzled by the circular symbol

The same symbol has been seen at locations across the globe, starting with the appearance of a hologram on Rio de Janeiro's Sugarloaf mountain on Sunday, 20 October.

A three-metre football displaying the sign then gouged a huge hole in the turf at London's amateur football hub Hackney Marshes 24 hours later, while New York City's Times Square was struck by similar images on the tourist spot's world famous digital billboards.

Further sightings of the symbol have been witnessed in the Copacabana neighbourhood of Rio and on the Brazilian city's Santa Maria hill, but this is the first time that the mystery has spread to a professional football arena. Also repeatedly spotted at the locations has been the message: #WINNERTAKESEARTH
